O CARAVANISMO nada mais é do que ACAMPAR tendo como “abrigo” um VEÍCULO. Ele pode ser automotor ou um simples reboque atrelado a um carro. Portanto, caravanismo é uma modalidade do CAMPISMO, onde dividimos entre este, com veículos chamados “de recreação” (RV’s) ou CAMPISMO NÔMADE, quando são utilizadas as tradicionais BARRACAS.
Os principais veículos de recreação utilizados no Brasil são TRAILERS, MOTOR-HOMES e CAMPERS, mas podem também se apresentar ou se subdividir em Mini Trailers, Truck-Homes, Overlanders, Car-Camping e Carretas-Barraca.
Os maiores mercados caravanistas mundiais estão na Europa, América do Norte e Austrália, porém o Brasil apresenta um imenso potencial para as duas modalidades (Campismo Nômade e Caravanismo) devido às suas dimensões continentais, quantidade de destinos, climas, ecossistemas e culturas.

Caravanismo, a modality that has been developing in Europe since the 60's, especially at the beginning of the decade, with the adaptation of the vans - the motocasas: better known today as motor homes or trailers - (sophistication, comfort, etc.) or large-scale industrial, such as the Volkswagen (Volkswagen) Westfalia model, which allowed the interior life, even temporary, with the preparation of meals and overnight stays, with kitchen, refrigerator, cupboards, bed, among other facilities.
The caravanning itself can be summed up in the act of camping by making use of the vehicle while the nomadic camping uses the tent as the main equipment (shelter).
Modernly, it is a hybrid mode of tourism, recreation, leisure and adventure that can be used with parking for overnight stays in a suitable place, including camping sites. For its practice becomes essential to use motor home or trailer - house placed with industrial adaptation on chassis of a carrier (vehicle) as a van or similar.
The caravan has been established as a modality in franco growth, or in the evolution of the quality of the vehicles carriers, among them: Fiat | Mercedes | Ford | Iveco, as well as in the design and functionality of the so-called caravan part - an expression rarely used in our country.
It should be noted that motor homes are still known as recreational vehicles: RVs (recreational vehicles) or in Spanish: motor homes.
THE EMPHASIS OF EMHS BRAZIL
In 2015, through the sketch of a design that after modifications became the logo of the event, the idea was born of an Exposition geared at first only to the Motor Homes market.
Alexandre Rodolfo Boff, who was confident in his ability to work and perform, based mainly on several years of acting in the Leads sector for these types of vehicles, was distinguished with the support of several manufacturers, Alexandre Rodolfo Boff incorporated the challenge and, at the same time, Margarete Bonella (current manager of the Fair), started the sales and, knocking from door to door, having in hand a folder with the floor plan of the booths, could observe that its project fully met the expectations and the expectations of the companies , since it was focused at the same time on the areas of caravanning and camping, that is, something unprecedented and pioneering in the country.
In order to make working capital in front of the initial expenses, he sold some of his personal assets and, to his own surprise, got the help of those who would be exhibitors who anticipated the payment of the installments of the spaces in the event.
After tireless work of persuasion, since he had in mind the constant concern of bringing together a qualified public, participating in various meetings of regional groups of owners and future motor-vehicle utilities, which earned him thousands of miles, saw his project materialized with the accomplishment of the EMHS BRAZIL 2016 in the period from 25 to 27 November. There were 49 exhibitors and 5,400 visitors, in addition to 180 motor homes, trailers and tents in the external area.
Few events get such expressive numbers right on their 1st. But the market had a much greater potential, and Alexandre Rodolfo Boff knew how to expand the size of the Exhibition, so much so that in 2017 (24th-26th) it had 81 exhibitors and 6,000 visitors, keeping the number of vehicles in the parking lot, with parallel lectures by renowned industry experts.
EMHS BRAZIL 2018
For the third consecutive year, despite the challenges posed by the country's socio-economic and political situation, which emerged emphatically in 2018 with the elections at almost all levels of the executive and legislature, the promotion of EMHS BRAZIL (Expo MOTOR HOME Show) basic strategic reference of manufacturers and suppliers of the Recreational Vehicles and Similar (as trailers) market, as well as Accessories (trailers, couplings, etc.).
So much so that for this year, it comes with an additional denomination: International Caravan & Camping Fair - areas interconnected by the profile of the target public, taking place from 23rd to 25th November (10am to 7pm), with the FENAC Pavilions as city of Novo Hamburgo (RS) that was chosen strategically when concentrating most of the industries of the sector.
While some events close their activities due to the marked decrease in the number of exhibitors and, consequently, of visitors and participants to parallel and integrated activities - a result of the crisis in the country, aggravated in the motor home market due to the lack of specific lines of credit and financing for the purchase of these vehicles, that is, normative instruction of the Central Bank -, the realization of EMHS BRAZIL has consolidated itself as one of the biggest Trade Shows of RVs & Campers in Brazil and South America when counting co
